The end of our project..

Finally; we have finished our project and gave a presentation in the computer room.
We thank everybody…
We believe that we were not boring. We tried to guide Athens without giving too specific knowledges.
Normally our presentation was in 11. February.We were the last group, but unfortunately time was not enough in that day. And our project was delayed until next week .First we felt sory and we all said that ıt is very discouraging
Some people call; Kismet and some of them;destiny… But in my opinion this was a chance for us.. We had observed the other groups and picked up that the more a presentation is long the more people get bored.. and separately; a video which was made from some photos about the cities can be boring. So we saw that while a video was playing, people waited for its end impatiently.

After the school hakan said that he liked the others.
I was suprised and said;
- come on! dude didn’t you see the people? They were sleeping.. Only Mrs. Mine and Mrs. Perihan listened to them.
Hakan was speaking with a smiling face;
-Never mind brother! Moreover Only Mrs. Mine and Mrs. Perihan will mark.. who cares for the others!
-Buddy I think she will consider that point. For that reason we should make our presentation more interesting and maybe shorter..

Actually we had a project which lasts around 25 minutes. But after our impressions we decided to cut some part of ours. And we will not show a video which is not attractive. Thus our performance will last around 17 minutes.And then we were ready for show...
We came to the school very early. And still we were trying to memorize our texts because we knew and believe that we will forget all of them because of our excitement. İn our group only zeynep were relax and she were saying ‘’I never get excited.’’ But Hakan,Songül and I were really worry about our recitings.
Fortunately we learned that excitement is a situation which comes and go back in 2 minutes. And then we did our best(at least we think like that)

Shortly; eventually we gave the presentation by enjoying. Hopefully you liked our presentation. Did you?

she was talking about a project which the students will prepare.she said:everyone will be in a group which is include student from there and my class and you will work together in order to prepare a presentation.firstly everyone should choice a city in europe. Secondly you should collect data about it and find interesting ways to present it to us. Lastly you should talk about it and give information to us. After you presentation If your audiences become a fan of your city and want to go there It means your project is good.

Firstly we should tell about its history;

The history of Athens begins more then 3000 years ago when during the prehistoric times its first inhabitants created their first settlement on the rock of Acropolis. It took hundreds of years until the sacred rock of Acropolis find its glory during the golden age of Pericles 495 - 429 BC with the construction of most of its Monuments like the Parthenon by the famous architects Iktinos and Kallikrates and the Sculptor Phidias. During those thousands of years Athens went through times of Glory and times of decline .
Finally became the Capital of Greece in 1834 mostly for its location and historical importance. Since then Athens grew to the city we know today, an important financial European capital that hosted the last Olympic games with a great success. The infrastructure of Athens has been developed very fast within the last 10 years with new highways, a new airport, new metro lines, a new tram line, a new railway the Proastiakos rail, huge shopping centres, stadiums and sport centres and the port of Piraeus has been developed to one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean. Due to this new infrastructure and the quick access by rail ,metro and car a kind of urbanisation has began in Athens as many Athenians prefer to live out side of the city centre in suburbs and areas that a few years ago were holiday resorts.

Right now: you will learn landmarks of Athens and its sincere people

The 2004 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad, was a premier international multi-sport event held in Athens.

Sirtaki is a popular dance of Greek origin ,created in 1964 for the movie Zorba the Greek. It is not a traditional Greek folkdance, but a mixture of slow and fast versions of the hasapiko dance. The dance and the music (by Míkis Theodorakis) are also called "the dance of Zorbas".

GREEK MUSIC

Greece has a long tradition of music, going back to ancient years.Several gods and goddesses were connected with music and dance and the very word music comes from the Nine muses of ancient Greece. They were the course of inspiration for all artists and even today many artists speak of their Muse. We also have many musical terms from the Greek language: harmony, melody, tune, choir, orchestra, chromatic, scene, lyre, hymn, psalm, rhythm.And also bouzaki is important music instrument for greek.
